Walking Path
Summit Park District
Have you discovered one of the best kept secrets in Summit? The walking path on the west end of the park, entrance to the walking path is near the Sum-Fun Splash Park and the Disc Golf. The path currently one large loop is asphalt and is approximately ¾ of a mile.  The walking path is like a little oasis in Summit as it winds through this section of the park. There are also a number of exercise stations along the course which can facilitate those in a walking/exercise program.

“Vertical Endeavors, Chicagoland’s  Premier Indoor Rock Climbing Facility, offers
the best indoor climbing experience in the nation. The facility offers 18,000 square feet of Nicros built climbing surface, the largest display of climbing walls molded from real rock in the world. The three hour climbing event would include teaching Basic Safety Class.
For the first two hours the class covers knot-tying, belaying and climbing techniisfques. The last hour climbing and practicing skills”. by Vertical Endeavors.
Note: Vertical Endeavors Waiver Policy-all participants must sign a Vertical Endeavors Liability Waiver and Rules Agreement. Participants
under 18 years old must have the forms signed by their parent or
