SUMMIT PARK DISTRICT DISC GOLF COURSE

Would it sound like bragging if we said we have one of the more-challenging 18 hole disc golf courses in the Chicagoland area? It is only bragging if it is not true and, rest assured, it is true.
The Summit Park District’s course is entirely wooded which creates a challenge as you might expect. Here your game will require a finesse that can not be obtained at a open, treeless course. The course is located in Summit Park 5700 S. Archer Road Summit, IL 60501 and is located within approximately 20 acres of woods and natural areas.
Along with the challenges of playing the course, please anticipate occasional challenges from the environment.
Though the Park District continues to try and mitigate some of these on-going issues, the savvy disc golfer will prepare for occasional encounters with poison ivy, poison oak, rough terrain, low hanging branches, limbs and, depending on weather conditions, mud and mosquitoes. Please don’t let this dissuade you from playing our course because these conditions are not constant. However, we wish each player to have a positive experience therefore felt you should be aware they can exist.
