Seniors
ADULT & SENIOR TRIPS
** Have you long to go to places or events in the city or suburbs dreaded having to drive, battle traffic find a place to –park, pay an “arm-and-a-leg” for parking, let alone the price of gas?

The Summit Park District can help you with this dilemma. The Park District is sponsoring a series of trips that are designed to “leave the driving to us”.
On each of the trips we will provide door-to-door service for Summit residents.  The District will have 12 passenger van and we will pick you up at your home, take you to the event and bring you back home.

For each trip, a pick up schedule will be developed and you will be notified via phone a day or two before the trip as to the time you will be picked up. Please note that the times listed with each description are the times everyone is picked up to leave the Summit area. Your pick-up and drop-off times could be 10-20 Minutes earlier or later depending on where participants live.

The pick up and drop off service is only available to Summit Park District residents and the pick up address must be within the Park District’s boundaries. Non-residents will need to meet the van at the Park District office.

The fee for each trip will be for transportation and general admission. However, where noted, admission price will be your responsibility to pay at the door.

In spite of the economy our adults and senior citizen community still should look forward to the opportunity to enjoy your life.  The Summit Park District put together a program to help the adults and seniors to plan trips well ahead and keep within the budget.
